The following programme has
been designed with the specific aim of widening accessibility by making
the learning process as flexible and affordable as possible. Coaching
skills and the opportunity to become a coach should be available to
everyone therefore by training in a modular format the student can
choose a learning route most suitable to his or her personal
requirements.
This is particularly helpful to those working within associated
professions who may want to improve their coaching skills, but also
helpful to beginners who want to progress through the stages at their
own pace.
Course Details: Practitioner Coach Course - Part I (Mixed
Mode Delivery Programme)
This programme is
designed in a mixed mode delivery format. There is valuable one-to-one
training and coaching practice which takes place via the telephone
(deemed as the most suitable mode for learning as this is a popular form
of coaching practice). Combine this with the self-analysis and education
gathered through workbooks, course reading material and the regular
tele-lecture trainings and you gain the mix of a comprehensive knowledge
base and sound coaching skills.

Conference Calls
Designed to compliment the self-study workbooks, the conference calls
will explore each of the above subjects taking the student to a deeper
level of understanding and appreciation of the topic. These calls are
recorded and remain archived so that students are able to access them at
times convenient to themselves. This free and continuing access to this
library of informative lectures ensures that the subject may be
revisited at any time, particularly useful when it becomes highly
relevant to the coach's needs.
The tele-lectures are usually hosted by Gerard O'Donovan and delivered
by our faculty of over 30 senior and master coaches (All of which are
ECI Accredited) who have expertise in the different fields of coaching.

Mentor
Coaching
These calls form an invaluable opportunity to practice your coaching
skills in a secure environment, receiving help, support and guidance
through immediate feedback from a mentor coach. This experience is one
of intensive learning attained through the private, one-to-one attention
of an experienced coach.
Your mentor coach will be allocated to you upon commencement of the
course and seven coaching sessions may be arranged directly with them.
These can be scheduled to fit around any other commitments and demands
on your time.
A practical coaching assessment takes place during your final session.
Your mentor coach will mark your coaching performance against specified
criteria and will inform you immediately of your success in achieving
the required levels of achievement.
Written
Work
Throughout the course, you will be asked to submit a number of written
assignments, to include descriptive essays and a final thesis. We ask
you to do this so that they provide written evidence of your knowledge
and views of coaching. You may commence work on these whenever you feel
ready and continue at your own pace until completion.
However, as a caring company we are aware that many of our students have
not been in a position where they have had to complete written work for
quite some time (possibly years!). Therefore, we gently and
affectionately coach you through the whole process.

coaching practice. This three-day residential course provides essential
practice of coaching, presenting the student with 'real-life' scenarios,
