Dear
friend,

Update
from gerard
Turkey,
India, one
life,
Manchester,
Well at long
last I'm
back home
again,
having spent
the last
three weeks
in
such wonderful
and exotic
places as
Istanbul and
Birmingham,
Delhi and
Manchester
!! It's
strange you
know,
although I
do love to
travel there
is nothing
quite like
being back
at home. It
really has
been ever
such a busy
three
weeks. I'd
like to say
a huge thank
you to all
of the
students and
coaches that
helped to
man our
exhibition
stand at the
One Life
exhibition
at Olympia.
I believe
that many of
the coaches
attracted
some lovely
paying
clients.
I'm so glad,
and a big
well done to
everyone.
We have
another
exhibition
coming up at
Olympia at
the end of
March. (It's
Called the
Vitality
Show) if
anyone would
like to work
with us
during any
of those
four days
simply
contact Emma
Smith at
emmasmith@noble-manhattan.com
Turkey
was
wonderful.
Although I
had been to
Turkey a
number of
times in the
past this
was my first
trip to
Istanbul. I
was there to
take part in
one of the
first ever
national
Coaching
Conferences,
run by a
wonderful
company
called UFUC
KOC It was
so exciting
and
gratifying
to see the
large
companies
there that
were there
eager to
embrace
coaching.
Companies
such as
Turkcell,
Coca-Cola,
Fortis, HP,
Siemens and
many many
more. I
feel totally
convinced
that Turkey
is going to
be a major
player in
the coaching
world in the
near future.
Then it was
off to
Delhi.
(How I do
love that
place) our
office
administrator
there
"Geeta" had
booked me in
to do
approximately
6 to 7
presentations
every day (I
didn't know
whether to
laugh or
cry!!) And
again, as
before, the
response to
our coach
training
programs has
been
remarkable.
There is an
old saying
in business,
" problems
and progress
go
hand-in-hand"
so now, one
of the
problems
will be to
effectively
resource all
of our
future work
in India,
and to build
and look
after a
local Noble
Manhattan
faculty of
well-trained
professional
coaches.
As always,
if I can be
of any help
or support
to any of
you, you
know that I
am always
available to
have a
coffee on
the phone at
any time.
All the best
for now

build your
brand online
As a
coach, how important is it to you
that your presence be highly visible
on the Internet?
For many
years here at NM we have been
following a strategy that
continually raises our profile on
the Internet.
And if
you do a search on many of the major
search engines for phrases like "life coach training" "train as a life coach"
etc you will find that Noble
Manhattan comes very close to the
top on all of the major search
engines.
We
achieve this in a number of ways,
however we have to say huge thanks
to a gentleman called Chris Coney who has
been working with us for quite some
considerable time helping us to
achieve this.
We have
now persuaded Chris to offer his
services to all of our students and
coaches at a huge discount (and I do
mean huge) for full
information go to
At the
very least give him a call and have
a chat with him. (He actually is a
really nice guy)

attract more clients locally
Although
it's a lovely and exciting concept
to build your clients nationally and
internationally it is always a good
idea to build a solid and stable
client base locally. With that in
mind we have been putting together a
strategic alliance with a national
company in the UK called "The Best of".
Already quite a few of our coaches
and students have been benefiting
from their services. They really do
help to increase your profile and
brand in your local area and get the
word out to potential clients about
your services and offerings.
To find
out more about the special deal we
have crafted with them, go to
There is
even an audio file you can listen
to. (We think of everything ;-))))

insurance news
I've
just had news (this morning) that
Westminster Indemnity Insurance
(that's the company we recommend to
everyone) has just been nominated as
an official worldwide resource
partner by the I C F (International
Coaching Federation) they now
provide full cover across the United
States, as well as UK and Ireland.
Interestingly they had already been
nominated by the E C I (European
Coaching Institute) as their
official recommended provider.

would like further details on the
comprehensive range of cover that
they provide, simply go to

The
Three Factors Of Time
By: Brian Tracy
Organize Your
Life Around Your Family, You Career and
Your Personal Goals
You need to stand back on a regular
basis and analyze yourself, your life
and your time usage. You need to become
a master of your time rather than a
slave to continue time pressures.
Your Most
Precious Resource
Time is your most precious resource. It
is the most valuable thing you have. It
is perishable, it is irreplaceable, and
it cannot be saved. It can only be
reallocated from activities of lower
value to activities of higher value. All
work requires time. And time is
absolutely essential for the important
relationships in your life. The very act
of taking a moment to think about your
time before you spend it will begin to
improve your personal time management
immediately.
The Starting
Point
Personal time management begins with
you. It begins with your thinking
through what is really important to you
in life. And it only makes sense if you
organize it around specific things that
you want to accomplish. You need to set
goals in three major areas of your life.
First, you need family and personal
goals. These are the real reasons why
you get up in the morning, why you work
hard and upgrade your skills, why you
worry about money and sometimes feel
frustrated by the demands on your time.
Decide Upon Your
Goals
What are your personal and family goals,
both tangible and intangible? A tangible
family goal could be a bigger house, a
better car, a larger television set, a
vacation, or anything else that costs
money. An intangible goal would be to
build a higher quality relationship with
your spouse and children, to spend more
time with your family going for walks or
reading books. Achieving these family
and personal goals are the real essence
of time management, and its major
purpose.
How To Achieve
Your Goals
The second area of goals is your
business and career goals. These are the
“how” goals, the means by which you
achieve your personal, “why” goals. How
can you achieve the level of income that
will enable you to fulfill your family
goals? How can you develop the skills
and abilities to stay ahead of the curve
in your career? Business and career
goals are absolutely essential,
especially when balanced with family and
personal goals.
Personal
Development Goals
The third type of goals is your personal
development goals. Remember, you can’t
achieve much more on the outside than
what you have achieved and become on the
inside. Your outer life will be a
reflection of your inner life. If you
wish to achieve worthwhile things in
your personal and your career life, you
must become a worthwhile person in your
own self-development. You must build
yourself if you want to build your life.
Perhaps the greatest secret of success
is that you can become anything you
really want to become to achieve any
goal that you really want to achieve.
But in order to do it, you must go to
work on yourself and never stop.
Action
Exercises
First, develop the habit
of stopping on a regular basis and
thinking about what is really important
to you. The more often you stop and
think, the better decisions you will
make.
Second, decide clearly upon your
personal and family goals. Write them
down. Discuss them with others. Be clear
about why you are doing what you do.
Third, take some time to think about
your career goals and the steps you will
have to take to achieve them. Do
something every day that moves you
forward in all three areas.
The little
child whispered, "God, speak to me."
And a meadowlark sang. But the child
did not
hear. So the child yelled, "God, speak
to me!"
And the thunder rolled across the sky.
But the
child did not listen. The child looked
around
and said, "God let me see you." And a
star
shone brightly But the child did not
notice.
And the child shouted, "God show me a
miracle!"
And a life was born. But the child did
not know.
So the child cried out in despair,
"Touch me
God, and let me know you are here!"
Whereupon
God reached down and touched the
child. But the
child brushed the butterfly away and
walked
away unknowingly. Take time to listen.
Often
times, the things we seek are right
underneath
our noses. Don't miss out on your
blessing
because it isn't packaged the way that
you
expect.- Anonymous
GREAT QUESTION:
Take time to Listen:
what blessing have you been
missing out on simply because it isn't
packaged
the way that you expect...?

benefits of helping at exhibitions
As part of our commitment to help
build your business, you’ll help us
at a show and in return we’ll help
you build your client base and gain
experience on coaching a wide
variety of people we had a number of
students and coaches help us out at
the ‘One Life’ Show.
We thoroughly enjoyed taking part at
‘One Life’ last weekend and had a
great experience. We had students
helping us out on the stand talking
to people interested in coaching,
sharing their own experiences,
building their profiles and meeting
new, interesting people. Our coaches
were giving free coaching sessions
to the public so people could
experience what coaching actually is
and how it can transform
their lives. This went
down a storm, I think we had about
50 people queuing at one point just
to have a coaching session! Although
the sessions were kept to only
20minutes as they proved to be so
popular we saw some dramatic changes
in many
people’s
lives and was very rewarding to see
them walk away feeling happy with a
positive attitude in just 20
minutes, imagine how a full session
would have effected them!
All of our coaches went away with
new client details and a very
positive experience. This is such a
great opportunity to meet new
interesting people and build your
profile as a coach.
Gerard and I would just like to say
a huge thank you to everyone who
helped us out at the ‘One life Show.
We really appreciated your help and
support and hope that you enjoyed
and benefited from it.
Please find some testimonials from
some of our students and coaches -
"Thank you Emma and Gerard for
another great experience at the One
Life show. It is truly exciting and
inspirational to be able to be part
of it with Noble Manhattan. On the
day, not only I was able to network
and create bonds with other coaches,
old acquaintances and new ones, but
I had the opportunity to talk and
get to know a myriad on extremely
interesting people.
I find the idea of offering 20
minutes free session both exciting
and inspiring. It's a great
opportunity to promote life
coaching, a subject on which I feel
very passionate about, and it has
been also a great booster for my
confidence as a life coach. To see
how much can be done in those 20
minutes and the impact that our
coaching has on people is absolutely
inspiring. On the practical level it
is also a great opportunity to win
new clients. Last year I got 2 and
this year I am working on turning a
few more in actual paying clients.
The range of people that can be
reached during such events is
staggering, what a great way to
promote both life coaching and
myself to the public! I look forward
to be able to help again in the
future."
Elisa Sibille
"It was an absolute pleasure to
have volunteered for the One Life
Show at Kensington Olympia. It was
thrilling to meet so many members of
the general public with a keen
interest in life coaching. At the
Olympia I also met some established
coaches, authors and as if the day
couldn't get any better I was
interviewed by a radio station.
Volunteering for Noble Manhattan has
given my new career as a life coach
a tremendous boost."
Robert Anthony
Personal Development Practitioner
I thoroughly enjoyed helping out
last weekend at the One Life
exhibition. I wasn’t sure what to
expect getting involved in offering
the 20 minute taster sessions.
Although I have given presentations
about coaching, I have never offered
a coaching demonstration in front of
a large group of people. However,
after my experience at the One Life
exhibition, I will be more than
happy to offer this during my next
talk!
Not only did I help a few people
over the weekend, I learnt from the
experience and I also got some leads
for potential clients, networking
opportunities and getting involved
in another exhibition. So positive
results all round. Oh and of course,
being surprised by one of my clients
who came down especially with a
bouquet of flowers, a picture and an
impromptu song for me, to say thank
you for helping her during her
coaching sessions, definitely made
the weekend!
My heartfelt thanks to Gerard and
the Noble Manhattan team for giving
us coaches such a wonderful
opportunity.

‘I
recently volunteered to work at the
One Life Show for Noble Manhattan,
helping to promote the Diploma in
Life Coaching. It was such a buzz
talking to people about training to
become a Life Coach and I found I
learnt so much from the two days I
was there. I also had the
opportunity to sit in on a number of
coaching sessions being run by
Psychologies magazine, to observe
our fully qualified coaches there
working with clients. It was a
great opportunity for increasing my
motivation for my own studies,
expanding my knowledge of coaching
and networking for the future. I
can’t recommend volunteering highly
enough! ‘Rebekah Roberts’
'I can
say hand on heart that the
experience of helping at the One
Life Show as a Noble Manhattan
Student Coach was exciting and
inspirational with regards to my
learning and development as a Life
Coach. The day was planned well and
I would really like to thank you for
the opportunity and experience which
I would definitely recommend to
other coaches. The professionalism
of the organisation was a privilege
and I was really proud to say to the
public that I am a NM student
coach......'
