Words from Gerard
For once I'm a little bit stuck for words. There
seems to be so much happening and I have such a
little space to get it all said.
Never mind,
I
probably talk too much anyway!
Although there is one thing that has been playing on
my mind of late.
As we grow, and create more
divisions and expand geographically,
I do hope that I
don't get pulled away from the part of the business
that I love the most, which is working with all of
my coaches and students.
In fact it was lovely
earlier this week when one of our students Claire,
popped in unexpectedly to see me.
It was great to
just take time out and have a coffee together.
I
mention this because I want you all to know we have
an open door policy here at head office,
with coffee
and biscuits on the go all day.
So if you ever happen
to be in the area, please just pop in.
I know it's not exactly on your doorstep but if you
ever happened to be in the
Weymouth area,
on the sun kissed Jurassic
Coast (otherwise
known as the home of coaching)
please feel free to just pop in and see us all.
I
would be delighted to spend time with you.

Romania
I was in Romania a couple of weeks ago and was
honoured to have been invited to take part
in the country's first ever national
coaching conference.
I was also asked to appear on national television and
found it incredibly gratifying and rewarding
the way that everyone seems to embrace the
concept of coaching.
I really do think that Romania is perfectly placed
right now for coaching to explode over the
next few years.
I'm very much looking forward to going back there in
the next month or so and running some
"Introduction to Coaching" events in
Bucharest.
We are fortunate already to have a number of wonderful
coaches in Romania and I would like to say a
special and personal thank you to
Mihai
Popa-Radu
for helping to organise the whole event and
for looking after me so well when I was
there.

Richard
It is with great pleasure that we
welcome back Richard Steele.
Many of you will know that
Richard, who has
been with us for many years headed up our
customer care and marketing team.
He had to leave last December to
look after his family's business and his mother
after his father had a rather severe stroke.
We are so pleased now that his
father has recovered really well and Richard has
made the decision to come back.
Over the years Richard has been
of invaluable help to many of our students,
when it comes to helping them
with marketing ideas and suggestions.
We are all so pleased to have you
back Richard.
India
Well,
what can I say,
things are moving so fast in India! Now that
we have Shira Bassi our new
Indian
C.E.O,
ably assisted by Geeta Mathur our
wonderful office manager things are moving a
rapid pace.
We are delighted to welcome
on board many new students on our
"Practitioner Coach Diploma Programme" We
are also delighted to have started work on a
large contract with another multinational
company, and our also currently in
negotiations with three national training
organisations discussing partnership deals.
It's also a delight to have
our new and rather young faculty headed up
by that most wonderful coach Sheba Mani.
I know that many of you have
expressed a desire and a wish to be involved
with our growth in India,
don't worry, there is so much work to be
done,
I am sure we will have room for almost
everyone (well nearly!! ;-)

New Support for
Students
Some
great news for all our
Students and Coaches.
We are
putting in place a number of
new initiatives (in
addition to our existing
ones) to look after and
support our wonderful
students and qualified
coaches,
more effectively.
Starting
in September we will be
introducing a new monthly
support call for every one
of our students.
We are
also going to launch a whole
series of new "Coaching
Support Groups" around the
UK and parts of Europe.
We will
also be making our
discounted coaching service
more available to all.
For the
last three months our
Corporate Coaching Diploma
Programme and our
Practitioner Coaching
Diploma Programme had been
going through a large review
and partial rewrite (we do
this about every two years)
and new handbooks and study
guides will be available for
all sometime in September.

The European
Coaching Institute
have been in
discussions with
elements of the UK
government for the
last two years
and have been
asked to launch and
administrate
the first
ever
all-encompassing
register of coaches
worldwide.
This is called The

Coaching Register.
At long last
this will

transparency to the

as anyone who
is contemplating
