Well here we are, another newsletter and some wonderful and exciting news to share ( well I think it's exciting!)
The Noble Foundation
As many of you know it has been our intention for a long time to be a power for good in the world, and with that in mind we are launching our own charitable business later this year (approximately October) it will be called the Noble Foundation and will be a division of Noble Manhattan that will specialise in providing finances and microcredit to people in need, around the world. We will be starting in India, and will be lending to women only. When we launch we will need the help and support of as many people as we possibly can and should anyone want to work with us as fundraisers then please get in touch with Sadie Fry at sadiefry@noble-manhattan.com

The Noble Quest
The Noble Quest is going to be an incredible new two-week expedition starting in October 2009 (and then repeated each year) which will combine an exotic location, adventure an element of physicality ( like trekking and canoeing) with a huge dollop of spirituality. We have taken on the services of a specialist organisation called Pioneer Expeditions to organise it all. The first quest will be going to both Vietnam and Cambodia (two countries in 14 days)

Highlights

  • Summit the highest peak in Indochina, mount Fansipan
  • Visit remote and colourful hill tribes
  • Experience Vietnamese and Cambodia people and surroundings
  • Jungle trek
  • Canoe down wild rivers
  • Visit Angkor and learn about Buddhism

We are also delighted to be able to announce that accompanying this expedition will be Scott Milway one of only a few qualified trainers within the Deepak Chopra organisation, Scott will actually be teaching everyone the full Primordial Sound Meditation course, and leading a special meditation every morning. We will even do a morning meditation at the top of Mount fansipan . Numbers will be limited to 20

We are delighted to be able to announce that our first residential coach training programme for existing students will be taking place in October at the end of the week beginning the 13th of October. , first of all you don't necessarily have to be   an expert or even have a lot of experience in a
   niche to consult or coach in it.  (However, it    certainly helps immensly if you do.)

 

     Remember, great marketing and positioning will  overcome a lot of potential weaknesses, such as
     lack of industry experience.

Today   I've laid out for you my 8-Step program for starting your own successful coaching and     consulting practice.

     The 8-Step Formula to Becoming a Successful Coach     or Consultnat in a Highly Profitable Niche
     _______________________________________________

 

     There are many ways to start your own coaching and     consulting practice.  But in my opinion (and based
     on my real world experience), that absolute    fastest way to penetrate a niche is to follow my 8-Step formula.
     _______________________________

     Step 1. Select a "good" niche.
     _______________________________

      .  When you focus    on a niche you...

        a. ...can contact your prospects for less.

        b. ...sell products much easier.

        c. ...get referred much faster.

        d. ...obtain opportunities for free publicity.

        e. ...can sell high dollar backend products.

     ______________________________________

     Step 2. Borrow a successful solution.
     ______________________________________

 

     By this I mean, locate a business solution from a similar industry and "borrow" some ideas from the
     system and mix them with your own to come up with  a new solution for your niche.
   

     For instance, the same marketing system that works for getting carpet cleaning clients will most
     likely work for getting landscaping clients .So find out how carpet cleaners are gettin
     clients and develop your own solution for   landscapers.
     ______________________________________________

     Step 3. Develop your own information product.
     ______________________________________________

     Package your ideas into a "system" or methodology by creating a manual and some audios to go with     it.
    This is simpler to do than most people realize.     You'll be amazed at some of the ideas that allow you to create
      info products quickly and easily.
     _______________________________________________

     Step 4. Create a special report / sales letter.
     _______________________________________________

     This is a key element of your marketing system. This is a special report with a compelling title     that you offer for free to your target market.   It's basically a long form salesletter disguised    as a special report.  The special report is used     to sell your information product.
     _________________________________________________

     Step 5. Create a lead generation postcard, letter,
     or advertisement.
     
 You'll also need to create a lead generation postcard or letter or advertisement, depending on     how you choose to generate leads.   You'll use this marketing piece to get qualified   prospects to request your free report.
      _______________________________________

     Step 6. Obtain a targeted mailing list
     _______________________________________

     Note: This step is used only if you are going to  generate leads through direct mail (preferred  method when starting out.)
   When you target an industry it's very simple to     obtain a good mailing list of qualified prospects.You can rent them from trade magazines,    associations, and list brokers (that's why I like   marketing to industries).
          _______________________________________

     Step 7. Generate Leads and Follow Up
     _______________________________________

 

     Once you do your targeted mailing or run your lead generation advertisement you'll need to follow up  with your prospects...perhaps several times.     The first thing you'll do when you get a responseto a qualified prospect is to send out your  special report.
     If your prospect doesn't buy, you may need to  follow up several times.
       You can and should do this using multiple medium.One way is with an electronic newsletter (like the
         one you're reading right now). Another way is by sending follow up letters and     postcards.
   ______________________________________________

     Step 8. Start Offering "Backend" Coaching and
     Consulting Services
     _______________________________________________

 

     The final step is to simply offer more backend  coaching and consulting services such as:

        a. Coaching programs

        b. Weekend live bootcamps and workshops

        c. Paid teleseminars

        d. Consulting projects

        e. Outsourced marketing systems

        f. Additional information products

        g. etc.

     What you'll find is that your prospects will need your help and a surprising many of them will be    gladly willing to pay you for it.     In fact, many of your prospects will be eager tojoin your coaching program for a monthly fee or to pay you consulting fees to help them implement     your solutions.

     The Biggest Marketing Mistake
     ___________________________________

 

     Did you notice in Step 8 how I used the term  "backend."  This is the key to selling coaching
   
     and consulting services.  The vast majority of well-intentioned coaches and
  consultants try to sell their coaching and consulting services as their "front-end" service.

     That's a huge mistake!

     Services are sold based on a relationship of trust, respect, and admiration.  You must develop  that relationship BEFORE you try to sell your   services.
    
   
  

     If not, you simply become a "beggar." No one likes
     a beggar. You've got to become a "positioner" and position yourself first.  If you do that, your prospects

    will magically come to you.

     No kidding...just this week I turned down...

       -  3 association speaking engagements

       -  1 consulting engagement

       and...

       -  1 significant job offer (from a very
          well-known company.)

     ...and it's only Wednesday!

     That's the type of opportunities that come to you
     when you position yourself.

     In addition to that, and the most important thing
     is -- you'll be able to create the lifestyle
     you've always wanted.

     You'll be able to do what you want, when you want,
     how you want, with whom you want.  To me, that is
     the definition of success.

Coaching Distinction: Flow Vs. Goals
Definitions

  • Flow - to be so drawn along by what you are doing that it seems both extremely effective and extremely effortless.
  • Goals - to be so occupied with the thing you are doing that you plan and execute with effectiveness, but it may seem like work.

Comparisons

  • It just seems to happen vs. You just make it happen
  • You enjoy the trip vs. You row the whole way
  • Seems Effortlessness vs. Effortness

Example
Flow is an almost ecstatic state of mind where whatever you are doing seems to do it itself. Goals are demands for accomplishment, which may or may not be done in a state of flow.
Key Point
Flow was identified in long distance running, because it seemed that upon reaching a certain point, the running just seemed to take place without effort. It is true of many of the sports; it just seems to do it itself. So it is with a business or a hobby. Something happens and all at once and it seems that everything is happening in a delightful, smooth and exciting manner. This manner is called: "Flow."
