I've had an interesting experience over the last couple of weeks, something I have to say which has brought joy to my heart.
I have given a number of presentations Recently in Romania Poland and London, and one of the questions I commonly get asked is " what makes Noble Manhattan so special?"
So, to turn it on its head, I have actually started asking my audiences over the last few weeks the same question. I do it at the end of each " Introduction to Coaching" day, and the answer has been the same each time.
They say "we have never come across a company in our lives that gives so much care, so much support and so much backup".
This really is music to my ears.
And it completely bears out the philosophy that underlines everything we do at Noble Manhattan.
You see I know that training someone to be a magnificent coach is not enough in fact it is only half the job. It is almost as important (some would say more) to then support everyone in helping them to build a successful, joyous and financially rewarding coaching practice. We have two great opportunites to help you build your profile and gain clients
1.Helping on the stand
This is a great opportunity for you to network and meet new, interesting people. Helping out on the stand is always good fun and would involve handing out brochures, speaking to people who are enquiring about coaching and sharing your own coaching experiences and helping us gain new prospects. You will of course get free entry into the show. We will probably have 6 people helping on the stand. We usually have 3 on the stand at once so while you are not helping you can look round the rest of the show.

2.Giving free coaching sessions – (you would need to be a fully qualified coach)
The Psyhcologies Zone have asked us once again to give free coaching sessions after the success of the 2008 show! This would involve giving 20minute taster sessions to the public within the Psycologies Zone. You will of course get free entry into the show. You will have plenty of time to look round the show too as we usually work it hour on/hour off so you'll only be working about 4 hours during the day.
This will greatly increase your profile and is a fantastic way to generate paying clients as anyone who is interested in having a coach rather than training as one becomes your client. It is perfectly ok for you to have your own marketing material with you.

Last week we trained nine new support group leaders in Romania. As a result we will now be opening monthly community coaching support groups in the town of Brasov, Cluj, Timisoara and another one in Bucharest ( the first one is just getting too busy !!)
The Diploma Coach training programme is now in the process of being delivered in Romanian. This of course is giving us the opportunity to welcome some wonderful new senior coaches on to our Romanian faculty.
Next Romanian residential course is taking place in the beautiful mountain resort of Predal mid-May ( 15th 16th and 17th)

Now that we have completed our second very large introduction to coaching event in Warsaw. Noble Manhattan are delighted to be working with our new licensed partners "Extreme Training" run by Zbigniew Brzezinski.
We are now scheduling a whole series of training and support meetings throughout Poland for 2009. The course material is, as we speak, being translated into Polish and we are currently interviewing a number of senior coaches for our future Polish faculty.
We are also now going to start looking for individuals who wish to run support group meetings throughout Poland. Any volunteers??
Our next event is in Krakow on March the 18th followed by an introduction to Coaching in Warsaw on April the 29th.
We are now looking for a suitable venue to run our first Polish residential training later this year.

We can see that this model has worked out so very well for both the licensees and Noble Manhattan and our students and coaches we are keen now expand it to other areas of the world.

Here are ten steps to help you achieve your goals in 2009:
1. Make the commitment to reach your goal. "One person with a commitment is worth a hundred who only have an interest." -- Mary Crowley.
2. Commit yourself to detailed accountability. Record your progress toward your goals every night, and list the six most important things you need to do the next day. Daily discipline is the key to reaching your goals.
3. Build your life on a sold foundation of honesty, character, integrity, trust, love, and loyalty. This foundation will give you an honest shot at reaching any goal you have set properly.
4. Break your intermediate and long-range goals into increments.
5. Be prepared to change. You can't control the weather, inflation, interest rates, Wall Street, etc. Change your decision to move toward a goal carefully--but be willing to change your direction to get there as conditions and circumstances demand.
6. Share your "give-up" goals (i.e., give up smoking, being rude, procrastinating, being late, eating too much, etc.) with many people. Chances are excellent they're going to encourage you.
7. Become a team player. Remember: You can have everything in life you want if you will just help enough other people get what they want.
8. See you reaching it. In your imagination see yourself receiving that diploma, getting that job or promotion, making that speech, moving into the home of your dreams, achieving that weight-loss goal, etc.
9. Each time you reach a goal your confidence will grow so that you can do bigger and better things. After accomplishing any goal, record it in your journal, Weekly Planner or Palm Pilot.
10. Remember, what you get by reaching your destination isn't nearly as important as what you become by reaching your goals--what you will become is the winner you were born to be!
