The ECI - it's Board of Directors and organisation structure

It is with pleasure that we can announce the appointment of four new directors to the ECI's Board of Directors.  The new appointments are:

• Dr. PaTrisha Anne Todd - heading up Research and Development
• Gary Adams - heading up Marketing and Sales
• Andrea Waterhouse - responsible for Public Relations, working closely with Marketing and Sales
• Rev. Dr. John Clements - non-executive director, working closely with the affiliate organisation team and the volunteer team

The Board of Directors would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support and the work that you are doing to ensure the continued success and the growth of the ECI. 

As each Director has stepped into their role (some new and some continuing) and is now focusing on their targets for 2007, the will be in touch with their current team of volunteers.

In line with this announcement, we have also addressed the structure of the organisation and the methods of reporting.  From this month all income generating elements of the ECI will be holding a weekly conference call with Gerard O'Donovan - this will include Marketing and Sales, PR, Countries, Affiliate Organisations, Accreditation, Company Awards, and Research and Development.  The back-office and supporting elements of the ECI will be holding similar conference calls which will include Standards and Ethics, IT, Membership, Operations and Finance.  It is worth noting that in some cases there will be a period of transition as we move from the existing organisation structure into the new one.

Although we will need to grow our team of volunteers, as part of this initial focus, the ECI are proud to announce that they have an additional 4 positions in the leadership and development team.  Should you wish to or you know of someone who wishes to join the ECI's volunteer team and take up one of these roles please do not hesitate to contact the Director responsible for the division.  These roles include:

• Intl. Head of Marketing
  • this role involves managing the marketing focus for the ECI.  The person who steps into this role will need to have marketing experience and the drive to work with Gary Adams to achieve the ECI's 2007 and future targets.  For further information or to apply please contact Gary Adams on gary@the-eci.org.
• Intl. Head of Sales
  • this role involves working closely with the Marketing team to convert the leads generated from marketing into sales.  The person who steps into this role will need to have sales experience and the drive to work with Gary Adams and the Intl. • Intl. Head of Countries
  • the ECI's representation across the world is growing.  To continue with this growth and to support each Country Head the person who steps into this role will need to have great communication skills and be able to motivate each country head to achieving the ECI's 2007 and future targets.  For further information or to apply please contact Barbara Dalpra on barbara@the-eci.org.
• Intl. Head of Affiliate Organisations
